Newkulele Music Festival, October 2018

We love performing at ukulele festivals because the entire audience either plays ukulele or is in a devoted family of players, or is totally in love with the small but amazing instrument!! (or all of the above!). So, from the moment we walked onto stage with 2 ukes and a few other instruments, the crowd went wild!! We were in the huge, cavernous, gracious old town hall of Newcastle nonetheless, with soaring sound and elegant lighting…. quite overwhelming really…. the long drive was all worth it! Our thanks go to an amazing committee who were wonderful hosts and fantastically hard workers. This is a festival not to be missed- congratulations again from us!!
